Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Simon Conisbee, trading as NockWorks Innovations, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have a privacy question or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at info@nockworks.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, telephone number and the details of an enquiry submitted through our contact form. If you place an order, we also collect the billing and delivery details, order information and communications needed to supply the products or services you request. We do not store payment-card details on this website.

We may also keep limited technical and security information, including IP address, browser information and server logs, to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.

Why we use your information

  • to reply to enquiries and provide quotations;
  • to process, deliver and support orders or services;
  • to meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations;
  • to keep the website and customer accounts secure; and
  • to measure site use only where you have agreed to optional analytics cookies.

We rely on contract where information is needed to fulfil an order or respond to a pre-contract enquiry; on legal obligation where records must be retained; on legitimate interests for security and day-to-day operation; and on your consent for optional analytics or marketing technologies.

Cookies and consent

We use a consent banner before enabling non-essential cookies or similar technologies. Choosing “Reject” prevents analytics and marketing technologies from being used. Choosing “Accept” permits the optional categories shown in the banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link available on the site.

Strictly necessary cookies may still be used for essential functions, such as remembering your cookie choice, operating the shopping basket, checkout, account login and site security. They cannot be switched off through the banner because the service would not work properly without them.

Who receives your information

We use service providers that help us run the website and fulfil orders, including our website hosting provider, WordPress/WooCommerce and, where applicable, payment, delivery and email providers. They may process personal data only as needed to provide their service. Optional analytics or advertising providers will receive information only after you have consented through the banner.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up. Order and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law. Security logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to protecting and investigating the website.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction, objection to processing, or portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Contact us using the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

How to exercise your data rights

To make a data-rights request, email info@nockworks.com with the subject “Data rights request”. You may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, or data portability. Please provide enough information for us to identify you and locate the relevant records. We may ask for proportionate identity verification where necessary to protect personal data.

We will acknowledge your request, log the date received, confirm the scope and identify any processors or systems that need to be checked. We normally respond without undue delay and within one month of receiving the request. If a request is complex or you have made multiple requests, we may extend the deadline by up to a further two months; we will explain the reason and tell you within the first month.

We will provide the response securely and in an accessible format where reasonably possible. If we do not take action, or if a request is refused or restricted by law, we will explain why and tell you about your right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Keep a record of the request, checks, decision, response and any follow-up action.

Data-rights requests are free in normal circumstances. We may charge a reasonable fee or refuse a request only where the law permits, for example where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
